SMD3838 dual color LED strip also known as SMD3838 color temperature adjustable LED strip or SMD3838 dual white led strip or SMD3838 CCT LED strip or SMD3838 tunable led strip, is a series of LED light strips equipped with warm white LEDs and cold white LEDs, its core function is to allow users to freely switch the warm and cold tones of the light according to their needs (such as from warm white 2700K to cold white 6500K). For the warm white LED and the cold white LED, it can be made into one LED, called 2in1 LED.

SMD3838 dual color LED Strip Features：

1. Dynamic color temperature adjustment
Supports wide-area color temperature adjustment from 2700K to 6500K, covering warm yellow light (2800K) to cold white light (6500K), meeting the needs of home atmosphere to high-concentration work lighting.
Dual white light chip integrated design, through current proportional control to achieve stepless color temperature switching, smooth transition without fault.
2. High color rendering and light efficiency
Color rendering index Ra≥95 (high-end model), R9>90, full spectrum version is close to natural light, suitable for color-sensitive scenes such as art galleries and medical spaces.
Single light efficiency 40–50 lm, brightness exceeds traditional 5050 light strips.
3. Color consistency
Color tolerance SDCM<3 (high-end model), ensuring color temperature uniformity within the batch.
4. Ultra-narrow flexible PCB
The PCB width is narrow, suitable for mini aluminum grooves or silicone sleeves, suitable for installation in narrow spaces (such as cabinets, luminous characters). Flexible substrate (FPC) supports arbitrary bending and even folding to adapt to curved contours.
5. Waterproof level covers IP20 (bare board) to IP68 (full waterproof with glue filling), and the weather resistance temperature for outdoor use is -20°C~+60°C. Ceramic substrate models are resistant to sulfurization and are suitable for high humidity and corrosive environments (such as vehicles and coastal areas).
6. Power supply and energy efficiency
The working voltage is mainly DC 24V (a few are 12V) to reduce the impact of long-distance voltage drop. A power supply with 1.2 times the power margin needs to be matched.
7. Control compatibility
It needs to be matched with a dual-channel white light controller (such as RF/WiFi/DMX512) to support independent adjustment of color temperature and brightness. DMX512 protocol is recommended for high-end projects, which has strong anti-interference and supports ultra-long transmission.
