SMD5050 dual color LED strip also known as SMD5050 color temperature adjustable LED strip or SMD5050 dual white led strip or SMD5050CCT LED strip or SMD5050 tunable led strip, is a series of LED light strips equipped with warm white LEDs and cold white LEDs, its core function is to allow users to freely switch the warm and cold tones of the light according to their needs (such as from warm white 2700K to cold white 6500K). For the warm white LED and the cold white LED, it can be made into one LED, called 2in1 LED.

SMD5050 dual color LED Strip Features：

1. Adjustable color temperature range
Dynamic adjustment: supports wide range color temperature switching from 2700K (warm yellow) to 6500K (cold white), and realizes stepless dimming by independently controlling the brightness ratio of two groups of LED chips, warm white (2700K~3000K) and cold white (6500K).
Control method: requires a dedicated PWM dimming controller (such as infrared, Bluetooth, 0-10V, DALI, etc.), and supports intelligent linkage.
2. Brightness and light effect
The size of SMD5050 lamp beads is 5mm×5mm, with 3 chips per bead, a light-emitting angle of 120°, and uniform light distribution without graininess. High luminous flux, meeting commercial lighting needs.
3. Color rendering performance
Color rendering index: Basic model Ra≥80, optional Ra≥90 high color rendering version, improve color reproduction (such as displaying jewelry and textiles).
Color tolerance control: The color tolerance of high-end models is less than 3 steps (SDCM), ensuring the consistency of color temperature in the same batch and avoiding color difference.
4. Physical characteristics and installation
Flexible design: Adopts 10mm wide flexible PCB substrate, which can be bent to fit curved surfaces (such as cabinets, stairs).
Cutting and connection: Every 6 LEDs are a cutting unit (about 100mm), which supports soldering or quick connector splicing.
Installation method: Comes with 3M adhesive or snap-on bracket, suitable for flat or rough surfaces.
5. Electrical characteristics and reliability
Voltage: The mainstream is DC24V, and the low-voltage design improves safety. Supports longer series distance (recommended ≤10 meters)
Long life: Adopts brand chips, with a life of 36,000~50,000 hours and low light decay.
