SMD3528 LED Strip Features：
1. Structural and design features
High-density layout: SMD3528 light strips can be arranged in high density due to their small chip size (3.5mm×2.8mm), with dense light spots, uniform light, and no obvious dark areas.
Flexible substrate: Flexible PCB or FPC substrate is used, which can be bent to fit curved surfaces (such as round columns and curved furniture), with a minimum bending radius of about 3-5cm, adapting to complex installation environments.
Low-voltage power supply: Usually 12V/24V DC power supply, which needs to be used with an adapter or controller, with high safety, suitable for home or small commercial scenes.
2. Optical and electrical performance
Brightness and power: The single brightness is 5-8 lumens (lm) and the power is determined by the number of LEDs per meter.
The luminous efficiency is about 40-50 lm/W, the color rendering index (CRI) is ≥80, and the color temperature covers warm white (2200K) to cool white (6500K).
Uniformity and light spot: The light is soft and uniform under high-density layout, but the single light angle is about 120°, and a slight dot-shaped light spot may appear when there is no lens on the surface of the light strip.
3. Installation and functional design
Flexible cutting: Supports cutting at fixed length (usually every 3/6 LEDs is a cutting point), and users can customize the length without professional tools.
Ready to use: 3M glue is pre-applied on the back, and it can be directly pasted on a flat surface (such as wooden cabinets, gypsum boards), which is easy to install.
Waterproof level: Optional bare board (IP20), drip glue (IP65), silicone sleeve (IP67) or full glue encapsulation (IP68) to meet the needs of different indoor and outdoor environments.
4. Application scenarios
Home decoration: cabinet/wardrobe backlight, TV wall contour lighting, bed bottom/stair step atmosphere light, creating a dark area-free effect through high-density light spots.
Commercial space: retail store shelf lighting, hotel corridor decoration, advertising light box filling light source, low-cost realization of basic lighting needs.
Auxiliary lighting: automotive interior (pedals, dashboards), small display cabinet lighting, using its low heat generation and flexible installation characteristics.
5. Comparison of advantages and disadvantages
Advantages: Low cost, suitable for large-area installation; Disadvantages: Low brightness of a single light, unable to meet high brightness requirements (such as workbench lighting)
Advantages: High-density layout, uniform light; Disadvantages: Long-term use may cause light decay due to insufficient heat dissipation (need to be matched with aluminum trough heat dissipation)
Advantages: Flexible installation, support for cutting and bending; Disadvantages: Only supports monochrome light, does not support RGB dynamic color
Advantages: Low voltage safety, suitable for DIY projects; Disadvantages: Low light efficiency (compared to SMD2835 light strip)
